Family Therapy

Family therapy for children & the whole family

School and work expectations, routine, and the frustration of never enough time — all of it heightens the inevitable tensions of family life.

In a safe space, we can hear each family member in a new, constructive way, and find agreements that meet each person's needs.

WHO FOR?

To learn new ways of communicating.

To learn a functional style of conflict.

To recalibrate roles and responsibilities.

FOR WHICH SITUATIONS?

Child–adult dynamics, and between siblings.

Behavioural and communication challenges within the family.

Every family constellation: nuclear, blended, extended...

Neurodivergent children (e.g. ADHD, ASD) and their challenges at school and in society.

FRIENDS & GROUPS

Working in a group: the challenge and the support.

The group is a space where we can experience every element of how we relate. The group shows us everything — and the therapist is there to hold and tend the dynamic. Group work lets us discover and heal whatever blocks or inhibits the quality of our relationships. It teaches us to become fuller and more authentic.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The group provides a frame of safety and respect.

We meet once a week as a semi-closed group: new members commit to attending regularly and to giving at least two weeks' notice before leaving.

Every topic and every emotion is welcome — this is a therapeutic space.

All members respect the group's confidentiality: we do not discuss the content of sessions or mention members' names.

The group is held by the therapist, who acts as referee.
